Her friends from the Mountaineers were especially prevalent, as well as practicing members from the Zen Center, her neighborhood, wine-tasting group and progressive political circle.
In many cases, these categories overlap considerably!
This was a special honor for Joan - and to her memory for the good works for which she has always been known.
She had specifically requested this particular memorial service as one of her last wishes.
I know that it will greatly help in her journey toward a well-favored rebirth!
